Plans in Works to Change the Pace of

Housing Production

As directed by Ambassador Agnes Kalibbala, Housing Commissioner, 21st Century Developers met with the new  CEO  for National Housing Construction Company of Uganda, Mr. Parity Twinomujuni to discuss obtaining an MOU for future development partnerships. The initial talks centered around providing a Model House unit, which will showcase the new advance building technology, 21st Century Developers (21stCD) are to utilize specific SIPS panels as basis of building system.

 

It needs to be noted that the Model House unit will be a standard NHCC design from its portfolio; this is being done to have direction comparison of categorized costs, which can then be tracked and evaluated. The goal of this excerise is to have current and ongoing data on which to effectively refine production time and associated costs.

 

A multi-story apartment complex is currently being discussed as a lead into much larger project(s); this complex will be located with a short distance, in eyesight, of the to be built Model House.
